Changes not announced yet

April 1, 2027: From April 1, 2027 the rate is adjusted every April 1 by the change in the projected annual CPI for Canada plus 1%, rounded to the nearest $0.05 (no decrease). The Minister must publish the new amount in the Royal Gazette Part I by January 31, 2027. (novascotia.ca)

We add the amount as soon as it's published. The API returns these under pending_changes.

Good to know

No tip credit: tipped_cash equals the rate.
The Construction and Property Maintenance order and the Logging and Forest Operations order (time workers) set the same hourly rates on the same dates ($16.50, $16.75, $17.00). Logging "other workers" have a monthly rate, skipped here.
Nova Scotia raised the rate twice in 2026 (April 1 and October 1) on the Minimum Wage Review Committee's recommendation.
