January 1, 2031: Another 1.75% increase (and 1.5% for the training wage) each January 1 after 2030; NDOL must publish each rate by October 15 of the year before. NDOL's poster lists amounts only through 2030. (nebraskalegislature.gov)

What's in force now: the 2026 rate in Omaha is the same as the state's $15.00 for adults. News reports say a Douglas County judge (late September 2026) blocked the ordinance's requirement to pay youth workers $15 but let the adult inflation increases stand, so the state's lower youth wage can still be used in Omaha for now.
The Nebraska Attorney General sued Omaha on August 18, 2026 over the ordinance's growth rate and youth wage provisions.
The ordinance's tipped cash wage is $2.13 (same as the state) and student-learners can be paid 75% of the rate.
