Good to know

Tipped employees: the employer pays at least the federal $2.13 cash wage and may take a tip credit up to the difference from the state minimum ($8.37 at $10.50), per the Secretary's Opinion 2024-01.
Employers covered by the FLSA but not subject to the Puerto Rico Minimum Wage Act must pay at least $7.25 (DOL).
Act 47-2021 lets the Minimum Wage Evaluation Commission recommend increases or mandatory decrees; none after July 1, 2024 was found, and DTRH's 2026 news list has no minimum wage change. DOL's state table (updated July 1, 2026) still shows $10.50.
