January 1, 2028: Annual cost-of-living (CPI) adjustment, rounded up to the nearest 5 cents; the tipped wage is half the minimum wage. DLR's page doesn't say when it posts the amount; the 2027 rate was already posted when checked on October 26, 2026. (dlr.sd.gov)
