Tipped (service) employees: minimum direct wage is half the minimum wage, and the tip credit is the other half.
maine.gov blocks scripted requests, so the 2027 row (Effective Date, State Minimum Wage, Minimum Direct Service Wage, Maximum Tip Credit) was checked by hand in a browser.
Maine DOL also lists a separate agricultural minimum wage statute (26 M.R.S. 652) but shows no separate rate on this page.
